DENPASAR, BALIPOST.com – Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center host the 5th National Pasraman Jamboree in Bali on July 2nd – 7th, 2019. The event organized by General Directorate for Hindu Society Guidance of Ministry of Religious Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia.
The event, held every three years, was officially opened by the Minister of Religious Affairs, Lukman Hakim Saefuddin on July 3rd, 2019 at the Grand Ballroom of Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center. The opening ceremony was also attended by General Directorate for Hindu Society Guidance, Prof. I Ketut Widnya, M.A., M. Phil., Ph. D as well as echelons 1 and 2 in the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and Bali Provincial SKPD.
The event themed “The 5th National Pasraman Jamboree As a Forum to Increase the Sensitivity and Solidarity for the Awareness of Young Hindu Generations in the Responsibility to Build the Nation’s Future” was attended by 1000 participants from 33 provinces in Indonesia with its activities contested including Tri Sandhya Mantra Competition, Worship Kramaning Contest, Asanas Yoga Contest, Hindu Poetry Contest, Hindu Story-telling Contest, Daily Prayer Recitation Contest, Outbound Contest, and Dharmawidya Competition (Quiz show). Furthermore, guidance and training for all participants were also conducted through a workshop.
“The Pasraman Jamboree is expected to be a media in instilling the spirit of togetherness, caring, and loving the country and a spirit of service to the nation. Thus, Pasraman students will be able to appear in the forefront and be responsible to build a better future of Indonesia “said Lukman Hakim Saefuddin, Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in the opening speech at Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center.
“We are delighted to be chosen to host the 5th National Pasraman Jamboree organized by General Directorate for Hindu Society Guidance of Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Because our facilities such as the grand ballroom which accommodate up to 2000 delegates and 12 other meeting rooms with its capacity from 20-200 guests able to meet the needs during the event, plus our 258 guest rooms are occupied by the committee and participants.
