NUSA DUA, BALIPOST.com – Located on Bali’s southern peninsula, the pristine 200-meter white sandy beach of Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa is a natural location for nesting sea turtles.
As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting social responsibility and wildlife, Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa works closely with a local Turtle Conservation organization – “Bali Sea Turtle Society”. To improve the chances of survival, nests of eggs are relocated to a dedicated area to ensure they carefully incubate in a secured environment.
On 15th July 2019, the resort welcomed 94 new baby turtles and early the following morning, guests were invited to join an event to witness a wonderful moment as these baby turtles were released to splash their way into the waters of the Indian Ocean. Since year 2013, the resort has released more than 2200 baby turtles to the ocean.
